The Vessel and Her Loss
Built in Germany, the 200-foot freighter passed through Belizean and finally Haitian registry before being seized and released by the Port Authority of Nassau to Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas in 2003. Prepared and deliberately sunk on 7 July 2003 next to the older, deteriorating Bahama Mama wreck, she settled upright and fully intact, quickly becoming known for regular Caribbean reef shark activity along the nearby Tongue of the Ocean wall.
