The Vessel and Her Loss
Annie Falconer was built at Kingston in 1867. The two-masted schooner carried a wide range of bulk cargoes during its career. It sprang a leak while carrying coal from Big Sodus to Picton in November 1904 and sank before reaching shelter. The crew escaped, but the mate died from exposure after reaching Amherst Island.
