The Vessel and Her Loss
Veronica L was a small Trinidad-registered cargo vessel that began taking on water while anchored in St George's harbour, Grenada, and sank in 1993. When construction began on a new cruise ship terminal, the wreck was refloated, barged to Grand Anse, and deliberately re-sunk on the reef, where it has since become a colorful, easily accessible dive site.
